The Portola Valley Schools Foundation
is comprised of parents just like you who are working together to improve
our schools. We have a wide range of roles and invite you to come speak
with us about your interests.
How Can I Help?
There are several ways to help out:
1. Join the PVSF Board of directors.
We are always looking for great people to join one of the following teams:
Annual Campaign, finance, publications, special events, eScrip, Gala,
technology and Endowment. Most of our board members have full plates and/or
full-time jobs, so we have crafted the roles to fit our busy lives. Please
consider joining us and lending your skills.
2. Volunteer for the annual Brochure Night on October 13th when a large group of
volunteers comes together to pull together mailers to the whole community
and to share some wine and dinner along the way. This is a great way to
meet new people and contribute your energy for a few hours.
3. Volunteer for the annual Phonathon on November 12, when volunteers make phone calls to
parents to encourage them to donate to the foundation. There is always an
exciting atmosphere at this event and we always need the help.
4. Volunteer for the Gala or special events. We always need a large group
of volunteers to pull off our bi-annual Gala event, and there are numerous
smaller events along the way.
